Mia Rabjohn is the founding osteopath of Summer Hill Osteopathy. Mia is a fully qualified and experienced osteopath who graduated from The British School of Osteopathy in London in 2005. As an osteopathic practitioner Mia has 12 years of extensive experience in treating a wide variety of patients from newborn babies to the more senior of patients. Mia is happy to treat anything that is musculoskeletally related - from the feet to the head and all that is in between.
After graduating Mia moved to New Zealand and practiced as an osteopath, initially in Marlborough and later in Christchurch. The Christchurch earthquakes were the motivating factor in Mia’s decision to move to Sydney in 2012 and she considers them to have been a blessing in disguise, as she loves Sydney and became an Australian citizen in late 2016. Since moving to Sydney Mia has worked as a locum in Bondi Junction and also in the CBD. Her main place of work over the last four years has been in the Northern Beaches, where she works alongside a fantastic team of people, in a multidisciplinary practice.
Mia is approachable and friendly and enjoys helping all her patients try to achieve relief from pain and improve their overall health. She has a strong belief in patient education and participation to aid management and prevention of injuries.
In her spare time Mia enjoys going to the gym, spending time with friends and enjoying the many beaches Sydney has to offer. Mia has a great passion for fine wine and food and takes great enjoyment in studying about wine via the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and the Sydney Wine Academy.
Mia decided to open Summer Hill Osteopathy after being introduced to the area by friends who live and work locally and identifying a need for an osteopath in the area.
Mia is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, the Osteopathic Council of NZ & the General Osteopathic Council in the UK and is a member of Osteopathy Australia.
Mia relishes the opportunity to be the local community’s Osteopath. Please feel free to contact Mia to discuss any health issues you think she might be able to help you with. She looks forward to meeting and helping you soon!
